Celorbix terms of use

These terms cover the Celorbix apps and the website at celorbix.ai. By creating an account or using them, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Who we are

For the lawyer: the contracting party. The company may not exist yet (store-launch/README.md), and today's Apple team is an individual's.

Who can use Celorbix

You must be 18 or over, and able to agree to these terms. Keep your sign-in safe; you're responsible for what's done with your account.

What Celorbix is, and isn't

• Celorbix helps you log food and keep track of your health numbers. It gives nutrition estimates and general guidance.
• It isn't medical advice and it isn't a medical device. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything. Numbers can be wrong, including allergy alerts, so don't rely on them alone for medical decisions. Talk to a doctor or dietitian. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
• AI features can make mistakes. You check what's logged before saving it.

Your content

What you log and post stays yours. You give us permission to store it and process it to run the service, as the privacy policy describes. We don't use your diary to train models. If you turn on "Share with Celorbix" for a food you added, you allow us to add a copy to the food list for everyone.

Plans and payment

• Free features stay free. Every new account gets Pro for its first 14 days, with no card.
• Pro bought through Apple or Google is billed by them under their terms and renews automatically until you cancel in your store account, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are theirs to decide. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription.
• Limits on photos and AI answers may apply on any plan, as the app shows.

Community

Be decent. Don't post what's illegal, hateful, sexual, unsafe or someone else's private information, and don't sell, spam or give medical instructions. Posts may be checked automatically and by people, and may be held or removed. Accounts that break these rules may be closed.

Professionals

• Dietitians, nutritionists, doctors and trainers on Celorbix are independent. They aren't our employees or agents, and their care and advice, including any plan they send, are their own responsibility. We check their credentials when they join and at intervals, but we don't check what's in their plans or guarantee their care.
• If you join as a professional, what you tell us about your credentials must be true and current. You follow the rules of your profession, and keep to your field: meal plans from dietitians, nutritionists and doctors, and exercise plans from trainers and doctors. You use what people share with you only for their care. Messages here aren't for emergencies.
• Any fee for a consultation is between you and the professional. Fees for professional plans are shown before anything is charged.

For the lawyer: scope of practice for meal and exercise plans in India, the United States (state by state for dietitians) and Mexico; a separate agreement and data processing agreement for professionals; who is the controller of what a professional reads; whether a doctor's plan here creates obligations about medical records.

What you may not do

Don't try to reach other people's data, break or overload the service, copy our food lists or app in bulk, reverse-engineer them except where the law allows it, or use them to build a competing data set.

Our rights in Celorbix

The apps, website, food data and designs are ours or our licensors', and the Celorbix name and icon are our trademarks. Open data we use is credited under Trademarks and credits. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the apps while you follow these terms.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we'll tell you unless the law or safety stops us.

Liability

For the lawyer: disclaimer and liability cap; consumer law in India (Consumer Protection Act 2019), the EU and France if opened, and US states; App Store's minimum terms for a custom licence agreement (or use Apple's standard one).
